CARACAS, 11th December – The National Assembly lead by Juan Guaido issued an official agreement declaring the absolute nullity and consequent non-existence of any transaction agreement and other decisions taken by Reinaldo Munoz, Maduro’s General Attorney. The measure directly affects the settlement agreements signed by Maduro’s government with Crystallex in September 2018 and Rusoro Mining in October of the same year. The National Assembly declared that the contracts were not duly authorised by the organism and under the national budget law. Also, the text signed by Juan Guaido condemns these agreements as fraudulent, with content that was deliberately manipulated, according to people involved in the operations.
